A New Era for CAPSolar
Upon entering the solar industry, CAPSolar quickly realized a fundamental truth: the sector as it stands today is limited and cannot meet current energy needs. Standardized solutions are not suited to specific and diverse applications, such as vehicles or unconventional infrastructures. This mismatch hampers the widespread adoption of solar energy, precisely where it is most needed.
That’s why, at CAPSolar, we’ve decided to change the game.
Redefining Our Vision & Mission
It is based on this realization that we decided to redefine our mission and vision. These are now clear: removing the boundaries of the solar industry to generate energy where it is consumed.
To achieve this goal, we are developing a connected factory capable of producing custom solar solutions. Our ambition is twofold: to provide solar panels that are both high-performing and aesthetically pleasing, and to offer all-in-one solutions that ensure our clients have optimal solar systems tailored to their specific needs.
Recent Progress at CAPSolar
This summer marked a major milestone for CAPSolar. In line with our new mission, we have set ambitious goals across our sales, production, and R&D departments. Our strategic realignment enables us to better address the specific needs of each sector while optimizing our internal efficiency.
Marketing Strategy and New Markets
To expand our presence and enter new markets, CAPSolar has implemented a targeted new marketing strategy. This strategy focuses on three key sectors: transportation and logistics, recreational vehicles, and urban infrastructure and BIPV. These industries, increasingly moving towards electrification, are still struggling to achieve sufficient energy autonomy. Our solar solutions are therefore specifically designed to enhance autonomy and maximize energy efficiency, tailored to the unique needs of each sector.
To increase our visibility, we also participated in several trade shows and conferences:
Intersolar in Munich: Xavier, our production manager, discussed the latest innovations and opportunities in solar production.Mobility Week in New York and Philadelphia: Samy and Léa explored the evolving solutions for sustainable mobility.ACT Expo in Las Vegas: Evan Bontrager presented our solutions in clean technologies and transportation.This summer, our approach resulted in securing three contracts with clients from diverse sectors: a road transport company, a low-speed vehicle manager, and a refrigerated truck manufacturer. These custom projects strengthen our presence in transportation while opening promising opportunities in the recreational vehicle and BIPV sectors.
Production & R&D: Quality, Optimization, and Automation
This summer was pivotal for CAPSolar, with significant advances in both production and R&D aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of our processes.
The production department has strengthened product quality through rigorous testing, meeting the specific requirements of each project. This optimization enables us to produce high-performance and reliable solar solutions.
At the same time, the R&D department has been working on automating the production line. This initiative, still in development, aims to enable large-scale production of custom-made solar panels at reduced production costs, while also increasing capacity and overall efficiency.
These combined efforts across sales, production, and R&D reflect our commitment to providing a comprehensive solution to our clients, from design to delivery, with personalized after-sales service. All of our efforts are aligned towards a single goal: delivering solar solutions that are tailored, affordable, and high-performing.
